The Waxed Jacket was developed for my Fall/Winter 2025 collection.
I wanted to create a black denim jacket with the perfect fit, while experimenting with how traditional materials could be transformed through a handmade finishing process.
The jacket is made from 100% cotton denim and coated with genuine beeswax, which I applied by hand in four separate layers. I used heat to work the first three layers deep into the fabric, creating a highly water-resistant finish.
The fourth layer was deliberately left on the surface without heating it in, giving the jacket its distinctive waxed appearance and texture.
The result is a classic denim jacket silhouette with a completely different surface character, combining the fit of a traditional denim jacket with an experimental, handcrafted finish.
Model is 190 cm (6'3") tall, weighs 70 kg (154 lbs), and wears size M.
