The Waxed Cap First Sample was the very first cap I ever made.
I wanted to experiment with transforming a simple everyday accessory through a handmade finishing process, applying genuine beeswax to the fabric to give it a water-resistant waxed finish.
This early version still features my original signature detail: two metal eyelets positioned on the side of the cap.
As the design evolved, I moved the eyelets to the brim for the final version. This sample preserves the original construction and marks the starting point of that development.
