The Washed Cap Accessory was an experiment in creating a distressed accessory that still feels understated and wearable.
I started with a washed black cap, distressed the fabric by hand, and added my two signature metal eyelets to the brim.
On the opposite side, I incorporated four metal rings, bringing another element of hardware into the design without overwhelming the silhouette.
What I like most about this piece is the balance between its worn-in, distressed character and the restrained use of details. It stands out without being excessively loud.
