The Veck questions conventional pattern making completely. Where every jacket before it curved the shoulder, the Veck cuts it square — a four-cornered shoulder panel used here for the first time. It reads as rigid. It moves as anything but: the volume held in the points gives the arm more room than a round shoulder ever allows.
