The Cracked Leather Beanie was an experiment in turning one of my signature materials into an everyday winter accessory.
My Cracked Leather is surprisingly flexible and stretchy, which makes it particularly well suited to the shape and movement of a beanie.
To make the piece comfortable against the head, I added a soft jersey fabric lining on the inside, combining the distinctive cracked surface on the outside with a comfortable feel when worn.
I wanted to show how the same material I use in my garments can take on a completely different character in a simple accessory.
