The Button-Up Hoodie was one of my very first designs, probably among the first ten pieces I ever created.
I designed it for Fall 2024, when I was experimenting with questioning traditional hoodie constructions and introducing asymmetry into everyday garments.
The idea was to create a hoodie that could be opened without using a conventional zipper. Instead, I used two trouser-style buttons, one at the very top and one at the bottom, with several smaller snap buttons running along the opening in between.
Looking back, this piece represents one of my earliest attempts to rethink familiar silhouettes and turn something as simple as a hoodie into a more experimental design.
Model is 190 cm (6'3") tall, weighs 70 kg (154 lbs), and wears size M.
