The Bleeding Beanie was an experiment in translating my Bleeding Seams concept into a simple winter accessory.
I started with a grey beanie and introduced a black bleeding seam, exploring how the dark detail could stand out against the softer grey fabric.
The idea was to make the stitching itself feel as though it were bleeding into the surrounding material, bringing the distinctive visual language of my Bleeding Seams technique into a familiar, everyday silhouette.
This sample captures my attempt to give an understated beanie a more experimental character through a single, expressive seam.
